Body:i ordered this with no expectations that i would see it before Christmas because it was so close to x-mas but i couldn't believe it when i got a phone call from the place i had it shipped to that it was there. 2 days before Christmas. an excellant place to do business. i had e-mailed a question to country man. and received a reply almost immediately.
my only real concern is that i had found this exact item for sale at a local (60 miles) store for a much lower price but they were out of stock and had been discontinued. that also would have saved me the shipping. but i would not hesitate to make another purchase with Country Man. in the future.

The overall product is a decent design and functional.
It is perfect for the small operator like me, easy to use and
maneuverable. The service people where very nice and got the product
out in a very timely manner. I don't know who packed this item,
but it came in with the shipping package falling apart. The banding
was not tight and the box was falling off of the pallet. The box
was falling apart. The product,therefore, was shifting around
and was all scratched up and the boards where gouged. Do not know
how much the merchant is responsible for the packing, but it leaves
a lot to be desired. Otherwise, I am happy with Country Manufacturing.

Body: I ordered a dump trailer from Country Manufacturing. The
price was a special if ordered on-line. This was a huge savings.
The product was delivered promptly but required my assistance
to unload. The manufacture told me this in advance. However, I
used my pallet fork Tractor to do it. If I did not have one, the
unloading would have been difficult. The product required assembly.
The instructions were acceptable. They did leave out two steps.
They were easy to identify and perform. (Some bolts that needed
to be installed.) The wheels needed to be greased prior to use.
The instruction did not cover this. Failure to do so could result
in bearing damage. The trailer is set up to covert to hydraulics.
I did this. If not done, the value as a dump trailer would be
lost as there is no manual way to dump it. Overall, I am very
pleased with the product and service.

The delivery was a bit of a challenge as we had to be at the house
for acceptance and assistance, and since we work it was challenging
to be able to be at the house when the delivery required. Additionally,
the person manning the truck was not equipped to provide much
useful assistance in un-laoding the box; in fact if I hadnt had

called the day before to inform me of delivery. This never happened
and the delivery company informed me there would be a $47.50 re-delivery
fee. As such, I had to go to the trucking depot to pick it up.

Body: I feel that the overall design of this unit is good, but
quality control must not be a part of the process. First off,
it is obvious that this unit is an import. I recieved hardware
that I did not need, and was missing hardware that was required
to assemble the unit. The treated lumber on two pieces were so
short that they had to be replaced to be functional. On the corners
of the bed where the corner posts fasten to support the side rails,
three corners had welded metric nuts of one size and the other
had a metric nut threaded for a smaller size. Thank goodness I
own a machine shop and fab shop or I would not have been able
to assemble this unit without outside help. Also it took a rather
long time for this unit to arrive. Im going to guess a little
over two weeks. It is a crying shame that a little American pride
was not a part of this companies process, because I do feel that
I now have a very useful product. I would not recomend buying
from this company at this time.
